Saxophone Concerto - Alexander Glazunov

All the Strings and Me (Latin)
As a multi-instrumentalist and composer, I have been involved in music my whole life. My music strives to find the balance between complexity, artistry, and accessibility. As a double major in music performance and physics at UNL, I have gigging experience on saxophone, piano, vocals, flute, and clarinet; as well as research experience in architectural acoustics, bioacoustics, and rocket acoustics. Jazz and classical music influence my composition style. My compositions range from classical piano to jazz combo and big band arrangements. I have performed with various saxophone ensembles, jazz combos, the UNL Jazz Orchestra, and UNL Jazz Singers, as well as solo classical saxophone and piano works. I have played several gigs around Lincoln with small jazz groups including the Batelaan-Bos duo, and a Rwandan band called Live Lyve. I enjoyed being the soloist and performing the Glazunov Saxophone Concerto with the UNL Symphony Orchestra. My pop composition album Emotions can be found above.
